Sacred Journeys Retreats was founded by Angel Amita.
After a profound stay in Mount Shasta in California, reconnecting with the values of ancient Lemuria, the heart of love & compassion for all creation, and the first earth chakra, she was guided to return to Peru and start hosting retreats.
About Angel Amita
Angel Amita was born in Norway and soon found that she felt very drawn to explore sacred places, energy vortexes, and temples on the planet, with a strong connection to places such as India, Mount Shasta, Machu Picchu, Stonehenge, and Egypt. Her first big journey was to India as soon as she finished high school. After that Angel has explored more than 33 countries. She has lived in the UK, Canada, had 8 India visits, worked as a volunteer land healer, and lived in Peru since 2012.

Angel has been practicing yoga and meditation daily for almost 24 years and has been teaching in various countries since 2002. Angel is passionate about helping to raise consciousness on this planet and help people heal. She also feels that part of her life mission is to help restore balance in nature. Angel has been an active land healer since 2012 helping to create the worldwide earth-healing grid network. She is also an active healer, seeing clients from various countries. She has been running several retreats in Peru since 2014 and the community is now growing big!
Her special calling for Peru retreats is to take people to the Sacred City Of Light in Machu Picchu, one of the most powerful energy vortexes on the planet. This is a place that plays an important role in humanity’s awakening and healing. A stay there, a deep connection to this sacred place, can be life-changing. We work closely with the guardians of this sacred place, and we connect deeply in meditation and sacred ceremonies.
Angel is deeply connected to the ancient culture of Lemuria and wishes to bring in the ancient values and Awakening to this planet while here.

Ernesto Aliaga Montesinos
Ernesto is a native from Puno, Lake Titicaca, Peru and our guide and assistant for the Lake Titicaca retreats. He has been guiding groups for many years and speaks fluently English, Spanish and Aymara. He is also a healer and strong spiritual mystic. He will take you on a deep inner journey with the crystal bowls in the sacred temples. He is also a professional photographer. He will be with the groups to support you all and share his wisdom and knowledge about the ancient Andean cultures and the mysteries of Lake Titicaca.
In addition, the retreats are supported by Ayahuasca facilitator Danielle Dubois, Professional Guide Augustin, Professional guide Patricia, and more.
