TRAVELING TO PERU
FLY:
- International: Lima Jorge Chavez Airport
- Domestic: Fly Lima – Cusco
- Airport transfer: We can pick you up in Lima or Cusco with safe, taxi transfer
Good domestic airlines:
Sky Airlines, Latam, Star Peru
International Airlines :- Depends on where you fly from
Europe: Cheap flights from Madrid or Lisbon. Other good hubs: :Amsterdam and London
We recommend booking a separate flight from where you live to Madrid. From Madrid; a separate flight to Lima. This will be cheaper
From USA: Florida – Lima, New York – Lima are good and affordable routes. Please do research.
Good search engines: Skyscanner, Momondo, Cheapflights & others.
RETURN FLIGHT: Airlines often require that you show you have a return flight out of Peru in order to board
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS PERU
Please check with the Peruvian embassy/ consulate in your country of residence. Requirements may change on short notice. Most passport holders have visafree travel to Peru.
Immigration in Peru: Your passport will be scanned upon arrival. They no longer stamp your passport. The usual granted visafree time is 60 or 90 days stay. Thereafter you can easily extend your stay online. Max stay is 180 days per year.
As of July 2021:
A negative Antigen or PCR test required for entry. The airlines will usually check this when checking in/ boarding the flight. It will also be checked as going through immigrations.
No quarantine required.
Taxi and Private Transport
Airport transfer:
We arrange safe, private airport pick- up from Cusco Airport & Lima Airport.
Please send the following details:
Flight number, airline name & arrival time.
The driver will wait for you at arrivals with a sign with your name. In case your flight is late/ cancelled, please let us know.
We arrange safe transport during the retreats & journeys
The drivers are experienced and have the permits to do tourist transport.
Some of the drivers speak English.
We support local families by hiring local drivers.
